Rules of Roulette Bets
You pretty much have an endless amount of bets available to the player according to the Rules of Roulette. Most bets cover multiple numbers and you are allowed to make as many bets as you want on one spin, as long as the amount you bet doesn’t surpass the Casino’s maximum.
How to Play Online Roulette

Roulette is played by dripping a small metal ball into a spinning wheel that has numbers and colors indicating odd or even. You make bets based on where you think the ball is going to land, and when the wheel comes to a stop and the ball lands on a number, you win if you bet on the number!
On the Roulette board is a series of specially marked numbers and boxes. When you want to place a bet all you have to do is left-click the mouse button until you have deposited the desired number of chips, to reduce the number of chips all you have to do is right-click.
Then press the SPIN button to begin the game.
If the number falls within the range of any one of your bets then you have won.
These are just the most important bets you can make:
Straight Up
Place your chip(s) on one number slot. This means you are putting all your bet on this one number. Though the odds are low, the payout is high at 35 – 1.
Split
Place your chip(s) on the dividing line between two number slots. This means you are betting on one of these two numbers. Payout is 17 – 1.
Street
Place your chip(s) on the line at the end of a row of three numbers. This means you are betting on one of these three numbers. Payout is 11 – 1.
Corner
Place your chip(s) on the corner in between four number slots. This means you are betting on one of these four numbers. Payout is 8 – 1.
Six Line
Place your chip(s) like you would betting a street, but riding the line between two rows. This means you are betting on one of the six numbers in these two rows.
Dozen/Column
At the bottom of each column of numbers, there is a special betting slot for placing a bet on the entire column. This covers 12 numbers and the payout is 2 -1.
These bets divide the roulette table into the numbers 1-12, 13-24, and 25-36. The bet is on either a number from 1 to 12 or from 13 to 24 or from 25 to 36 coming up and is placed on the 1st 12, 2nd 12, or 3rd 12 rectangles.
Column Bets
These bets divide the roulette table into columns of 12 numbers. The bet is on any one of the three columns and is placed at the end of the column on the 2 to 1 rectangle.
Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High
These are all bets that have their own specially designated betting slots. Each represents approximately half of the numbers (though this varies if you are playing with or without a double zero). The red bet represents all the red numbers and the black bet all the black numbers. Even and odd hold the same principle as do low and high.
These bets divide the roulette table into the numbers 1 – 18 and 19 – 36. The bet is on either a number from 1 to 18 or from 19 to 36 coming up and is placed on either the 1 to 18 or 19 to 36 rectangle. If 0 comes up the bet loses.
Any Even or Odd Bet
These bets divide the roulette table into even and odd. The bet is on either an even or odd number coming up and is placed on either the even or odd rectangle. If 0 comes up the bet loses.
Though there are many more Roulette bets a more advanced player may take into consideration, these basic bets are all you need to know how to play Roulette and start experimenting on your own.
